The Pear cut diamond shape — also known as the teardrop or pendeloque cut — is unlike any other diamond shape. It features a modified brilliant cut and blends the Marquise and Oval cuts with one rounded end and a point on the other. Its signature silhouette is instantly recognised, much beloved, and undeniably romantic.

Oval Rose cuts offer a uniquely warm appearance unlike any of the modern diamond cuts. Rose cut features a flat bottom with a dome-shaped crown reaching an apex formed by 3 facets or more. Rose cuts are named as such because they resemble the shape of a rose bud. The rose pattern on these diamond shapes can vary in complexity; simple Rose cuts can have as few as three facets, while others may have as many as 24.

Bursting with brilliance and fire, an Oval cut diamond shape is exquisite and unique. The Oval is considered a “fancy” shape; the elongated design makes it appear larger than other shapes of the same carat weight. The Asscher cut diamond shape is an octagonal diamond with a square shape and layered facets. With 57 brilliant facets and a distinctive shape, the Heart is as scintillating as it is spectacular. And although this particular diamond shape has existed since the 16th century, it continues to gain popularity today when featured in modern-yet-timeless styles.

The Felix cut is similar to an Emerald cut, but with different facets. As opposed to step-cut facets, the Felix features triangular-shaped facets only  for maximum brilliance and scintillation. With 35 facets total, the Felix is an older cut that is highly sought-after today.

A Trillion cut, also referred to as a Trilliant cut,  is cut into a triangular shape. A typical Trillion cut will have three sides of equal length and a flat table at its surface. A thoroughly modern diamond shape, today’s Trillion cut is at once soft and sharp.

Shield cut diamond shapes have a somewhat triangular shape with the top side bowed and the two other sides composed of two bowed edges. The Regulus cut is an exclusive in-house cut similar to the Round, but cut with more facets. Top facets called crown is similar to a Round Brilliant but the pavilion has been modified with extra facets on halves but also close to the culet, thus creating a distinctive light reflection.

The Rand cut has the outline of the Emerald cut diamond shape but shows more brilliance. This cut is a modern diamond shape. It is similar to the Radiant cut but with a smaller table and pavilion that is polished in a similar fashion as that of a Round Brilliant cut diamond shape.

The Radiant cut diamond shape lives up to its name — it is impressively radiant and brilliant. Henry Grossbard designed the Radiant cut in 1977 in pursuit of combining the finest elements of the Round Brilliant cut and the Emerald cut. The Radiant cut owes its brilliance to the 70 facets found in its pavilion and crown. The precision of each facet offers immense brilliance and fire.

Princess cut diamond shapes appear square from the face-up, but are shaped like inverted pyramids with two to four chevron patterns on the underside. Princess cuts have a modified brilliant facet arrangement, offering both electrifying scintillation and a strong, clean shape.

An exclusive in-house diamond cut, Passion cut diamond shapes are similar to the Round, but cut with more facets. This cut has a double pavilion, making the reflection superior to that of the Round Brilliant. The table of the diamond is sufficiently smaller to make way for 16 additional facets, totaling the number of facets to 73.

Coming from the original French word for a diamond’s shape, the Lozenge cut perfectly resembles a rhombus and is the same diamond cut featured on playing cards. With its streamlined faceting and an emphasis on geometry — its four sides are cut in trapezoidal facets that stem down the side — this shape is the embodiment of the Art Deco era and is classically elegant.

An exclusive in-house cut, this cut is similar to Round Brilliant cut but with additional and distinctive faceting on top and bottom. The bottom halves are polished lower and the top crown facets are made in an innovative manner to give the finished product its own unique look, complete with elegant brilliance.

One of the oldest diamond shapes and beloved for its clean, linear lines, the Emerald cut is a testament to exacting precision. This rectangular shape features step-cut facets running down the sides to draw attention towards the center of the stone. These long, symmetrical and narrow facets add depth and dimension, while drawing in light and spotlighting clarity, making this shape look modern and elegant. Crystalline and sleek, this shape highlights long, narrow facets for a sophisticated and stunning “hall of mirrors” effect.

An Octagon  cut  and  an  Emerald  cut  can  sometimes  be  very  difficult  to  tell  apart.  When viewed from the top down, and if the Octagon cut  has  slightly  truncated  corners,  it  can be indistinguishable from an Emerald  cut.  When looking at the Octagon from the side profile, however, you can see that the parallel facets are not of an equal distance, which gives the Octagon its distinctive look.

The Magnat cut, an exclusive in-house cut, is similar to Emerald cut diamonds as it flaunts an elongated, rectangular shape and straight, linear facets—usually arranged parallelly down the stone. To add stability and prevent fractures, the corners of an Emerald Cut Diamond are usually cropped.
