VRAI MEANS TRUE

WHY VRAI CREATED DIAMONDS ARE UNMATCHED

TRUE TO THE FUTURE. FOREVER STARTS NOW.

IMPECCABLE ORIGIN

Nestled among the apple orchards
of America's beautiful Pacific West,
Diamond Foundry is crystallizing
greenhouse gas into rough diamond
using zero-emission river energy.

GROWN IN AMERICA

Real zero carbon footprint. (No carbon offsets required.)

Very little energy used per carat — ten times less than what mining requires.

American ingenuity & craftsmanship at work.

What this is not: Diamond rough mined in Africa or Russia, enriching African and Russian governments. Natural diamond of “self certified” origin (per mandated by G7 bureaucracy).

MASTERFULLY CUT

We always cut to perfection, for maximal brilliance.

Our master cutters hail from Belgium with four generations of diamond cutting expertise & history.

Our team members even included the cutter who co-invented the Princess Cut.

WE ARE CREATORS

We tell you the name of each cutter & polisher involved in your diamond.

We pay top wages for quality craftsmanship.

Many team members have been with us for a decade and longer.

CUT FOR YOU™

In an industry-first offering, we make it easy as a breeze to cut & polish a pristine piece of rough bespoke for you.

Any diamond shape & size.

Get one Cut for You™

What this is not: Diamonds polished in mass factories with no-name laborers. Diamond polished for compromising yield over brilliance

EACH UNIQUE

The creators at Diamond Foundry are trying hard but crystals never grow perfect. There are always inclusions and varied growth patterns. It's the nature of diamond growth!

GIA DIAMOND GRADES - CERTIFIED

Diamond industry labs such as GIA and IGI grade by eye sight with unreliable consistency. Not only is this greatly subjective, they explicitly refuse to guarantee their grades.

We use science-based metrology and one billion data points for each carat grown to issue 4C diamond grades on the GIA diamond scale. And we actually offer complete warranties and guarantees.

NO MINING

There is nothing romantic about mining.

Mining has a vast environmental footprint. It also supports questionable governments.

Diamonds in earth are abundant but supply and price is controlled by a foreign diamond mining cartel. That's why people have rightfully this feeling when buying mined diamonds: feeling fleeced.

"Few industries in the world have a larger environmental and social footprint than mining."

Michael J. Kowalski, former CEO of Tiffany & Co

Mining activities result in an "extraction of wealth from land that paradoxically does not produce wealth for the local populations who remain poor."

His Holiness Pope Francis

A tale of two diamond producers:

Embrace the future American grower of the diamond rough cut & polished by VRAI, founded by an innovator in solar tech. Revenues support American ingenuity & craftsmanship; USA, Washington State, and California.	Control supply South African miner of African diamonds, founded by the “architect of apartheid.” Revenues support African governments and its officials.
