Men's engagement rings

Most men wear their engagement ring on the fourth finger of their left hand, what is also known as the ring finger. This is because an engagement ring is traditionally worn on the same hand and finger as their future wedding ring. 

Normally, each individual pays for the other’s ring. Traditionally, a groom or his family would pay for the bride’s ring, and the bride or her family would pay for the groom’s ring in return. Today, each couple should set their own budget and decide what traditions are right for them. 

In many Latin American countries such as Argentina and Chile, men have been wearing engagement rings for generations. Today, regardless of cultural background, individuals should feel empowered to wear an engagement ring, regardless of gender.
